Email Notification Setup

Everyone has their preference as to which notifications they receive via email during the workflow process. Some people don't like receiving much as they check things manually. Some people don't mind filling their inbox with every notification possible. 

Usually, we would go through and create these settings with you during initial setup of the Mtivity platform, however, sometimes there's a little tweaking individuals prefer after setup or when new users come on board. Here's a quick guide on how to do just that:

Let's take a look at it from an Admin point of view first. Firstly, you will need to check that the choice is available within your admin privileges. This is located in the area below:

This will allow you to alter whether the email preference is toggleable for each user in the first instance by pushing the 'Edit' button and then altering the selection for each option to 'By Default' or 'Always' depending on preference.

This is then toggleable at the top of the page as to whether this applies to just yourself or if you want to force this setting for all users of the company.

Once this is in place, we can look at how individual users can alter their own email settings. It should be noted that if you have chosen 'Always' or 'Never' and applied this to all users, they will be unable to alter the settings for that particular notification.

This can be found by users via the 'Personal Setup' option in the top right then under 'Email Management'.

After hitting the 'Edit' button, the user is able to alter whichever options they wish (or you wish for them to be able to). This is shown a little differently with a checkbox system in place to simply send or not send the notifications.

With that done, you should be good to go!
